Phytessence Oryza or Rice Oil is a plant from California with anti-inflammatory, moisturizing, and revitalizing properties. In cosmetics, this plant is used for dry and brittle hair, but also for sensitive skin.
This plant is also native to China. It is one of the oldest cultivated plants in human history. The Chinese name for rice is Gu Ya. Rice is cultivated primarily for its grains, which are the main nutrient in Southeast Asia. However, preparations of the seeds, flowers, and stems have also been used in folk medicine to treat many ailments such as inflammation, swelling, and injuries.
The material is made by patented microwave extraction of unpolished brown rice grains, rich in all the essential active ingredients. The solvents used are glycerin and water.
